Vietnamese cuisine is more than Pho or Bun Cha, there is one distinctive thing: snake, and Le Mat Snake Farm and Village in Hanoi is the best place to try out some snake meat. Le Mat Village is about 11 kilometers from Hanoi city center, and is famous for its traditional snake farm and restaurant where you can try 10 different dishes made from snake meat marinated with Vietnamese herds and species. This is also a change to visit snake farm and learn about special snake farming techniques.

Itinerary

At 10.00 AM/17.00, our guide will pick up from your hotel and go to Le Mat Village in Viet Hung Ward. We will cross the Chuong Duong Bridge to the other side of the city.

Arrive to the village, you will be served with 10 different dishes made by snake meat: from snake spring roll, stir fried snake with veggies, snake soup, snake porridge, deep fried snake skin, to grilled snake and many other. You even change challenge yourself by a short of snake wine with a beating snake heart inside it.

After trying out all of those dishes, you may enter the snake farm to have a better look of how the snakes a raised, fed, trained by local experts, also you can witness some of the largest bottle of King Cobra snake wine in Vietnam.
