The Northern Vietnam Tour 6 Days give you an opportunity to discover the most famous destinations in the Northern of Vietnam. With only 6 days/5 nights, this package is an ideal option for travelers who don’t have much time or want to combine with other cities in Indochina.
Upon arrival flight, the tour guide & driver will be welcoming you at Noi Bai airport; it takes us 35 minutes driving to the center of Hanoi then check-in at hotel.
After breakfast, we will start our city tour with Ho Chi Minh Complex included Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his house-on-stilts & One Pillar Pagoda. Next, head onward to the Temple of Literature, an ancient collection of courtyards, gardens and architecture built in homage to the Chinese scholar Confucius.
Enjoy Vietnamese lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will discover Hoa Lo Prison Museum, also known as the “Hanoi Hilton”, was a prison used by the French colonists in Vietnam for political prisoners and later by North Vietnam for prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. Comeback to the Old Quarter, we stop to visit at Ngoc Son Temple located on the Hoan Kiem Lake (the “Sword” Lake).
Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel. Today will be your great chance to visit to Ninh Binh, one of the oldest capitals of Vietnam. The area is featured by lots of well-known sceneries, which include Tam Coc Caves and Hoa Lu ancient capital with the old temples dedicated to King Dinh & King Le reigned in 10th century. The visit in Ninh Binh starts by a visit to the shady Dinh and Le temples, the site that used to be the kings’ palace in 10th century.

Further discovery in Ninh Binh will be continued by a boat trip in Tam Coc where spectacular limestone karsts jut out from the green paddy fields reminding about Guilin (China) and Halong Bay of Vietnam, which gives this scenery the name “Halong-bay-on-land”. Back to Hanoi late afternoon.
After breakfast and check-out, at 8AM we head East for more than 3 hours to Halong Bay, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994. The road will pass by the Red River delta with green paddy fields and rural villages, where hard-work farmers are busy with their farming jobs, ploughing buffaloes or planting seedling. Upon arrival in Halong, we’ll take a big boat to cruise the Bay to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending-dragon” bay, created by thousands odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes. After a lunch of fresh seafood on board, we can visit the Surprising Grotto, stop for swimming or kayaking, passing floating villages and approach islets to enjoy their beauty in close distance. Back to the boat for dinner late afternoon.
Evening attend activities on the boat or relax at your own leisure.

You should wake up early to enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a point-oriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. After breakfast our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc.
Take our car back to Hanoi, we will arrive to the city around 16.30. Check in hotel.
